When we compared Beckham Elementary School, which is a part of ARLINGTON ISD, with Moore Elementary School, which is a part of ARLINGTON ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.
Beckham Elementary School has a regular student population of 416 with a 14.3 students/teacher ratio while Moore Elementary School has 872 students and a student-teacher ratio of 16.1 students/teacher ratio.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Beckham Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in Science. Moore Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Asians comprise the biggest group at Beckham Elementary School. They make up for 29.81% of student population, followed by African Americans (27.64%), Hispanics (25.24%), Whites or Caucasians (10.82%), Two or More Races (6.25%) and Native Americans (0.24%).
The student population at Moore Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 46.44%, followed by Hispanics (27.41%), African Americans (15.25%), Two or More Races (5.96%), Asians (3.33%) and Native Americans (1.03%).
Based on household incomes, Beckham Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 70.19% compared to 43.46% at Moore Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Beckham Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 42.31% of its student population compared to 8.83% at Moore Elementary School.
Beckham Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 41.11%, gifted and talented students, 10.58%, while 9.62% are in the special education program. Moore Elementary School bilingual students comprise 8.60%, gifted and talented students, 8.14%, and 15.37% are in the special education program.

The 54 teachers at Moore Elementary School have been serving the school for an average of 9.1 years with individual teaching experience averaging 12.1 years.
