When we compared Beckham Elementary School, which is a part of ARLINGTON ISD, with Amos Elementary School, which is a part of ARLINGTON ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Beckham Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in Science. Amos Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Asians comprise the biggest group at Beckham Elementary School. They make up for 29.81% of student population, followed by African Americans (27.64%), Hispanics (25.24%), Whites or Caucasians (10.82%), Two or More Races (6.25%) and Native Americans (0.24%).
At Amos Elementary School, Hispanics are the biggest group, comprising 65.32% of student population, followed by African Americans (17.34%), Asians (7.80%), Whites or Caucasians (7.51%) and Two or More Races (1.73%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Beckham Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 70.19% compared to 86.13% at Amos Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Beckham Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 42.31% of its student population compared to 43.93% at Amos Elementary School.
Beckham Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 41.11%, gifted and talented students, 10.58%, while 9.62% are in the special education program. Amos Elementary School bilingual students comprise 43.93%, gifted and talented students, 8.67%, and 10.69% are in the special education program.
