Both schools garnered only three distinction designations or awards for performance. For Andrews Elementary School these are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics and post-secondary while Daffron Elementary School secured in Science, post-secondary and 25% closing performance gaps.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Asians comprise the biggest group at Andrews Elementary School. They make up for 53.50% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (25.25%), Hispanics (8.00%), African Americans (7.75%), Two or More Races (5.25%) and Native Americans (0.25%).
At Daffron Elementary School, Hispanics are the biggest group, comprising 57.58% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (16.49%), Asians (12.81%), African Americans (8.10%) and Two or More Races (5.01%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Andrews Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 15.75% compared to 47.28% at Daffron Elementary School.
