Based on household incomes, Alex W Spence Talented/Gifted Academy’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly higher at 85.59% compared to 80.13% at Rosemont Upper.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Alex W Spence Talented/Gifted Academy has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 42.65% of its student population compared to 70.51% at Rosemont Upper.
In addition, Alex W Spence Talented/Gifted Academy has 39.85% bilingual students, 36.76% are in the gifted and talented program, while 10.59% are in the special education program.
