Pflugerville High School earned a State accountability rating of B (80-89) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 85 in student achievement, 84 in school progress and 78 in closing performance gaps. It scored 83 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Weiss High School also earned a State accountability rating of B. The school posted 86 in student achievement, 85 in school progress, 90 in closing performance gaps and 87 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Pflugerville High School's four out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Weiss High School did not earn any distinction.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Pflugerville High School. They make up for 53.79% of student population, followed by African Americans (17.78%), Whites or Caucasians (17.39%), Asians (6.58%), Two or More Races (4.35%) and Native Americans (0.06%).

The student population at Weiss High School is also predominantly by Hispanics at 43.40%, followed by Whites or Caucasians (21.22%), African Americans (18.90%), Asians (10.58%), Two or More Races (5.29%) and Native Americans (0.25%).

Based on household incomes, Pflugerville High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 52.40% compared to 36.04% at Weiss High School.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Pflugerville High School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 21.74% of its student population compared to 16.43% at Weiss High School.

Pflugerville High School’s bilingual students comprise 21.52%, gifted and talented students, 10.98%, while 13.04% are in the special education program. Weiss High School bilingual students comprise 16.28%, gifted and talented students, 9.48%, and 10.53% are in the special education program.
