Arlington High School earned a State accountability rating of B (80-89) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 78 in student achievement, 85 in school progress and 68 in closing performance gaps. It scored 80 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Martin High School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A. The school posted 90 in student achievement, 90 in school progress, 90 in closing performance gaps and 90 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Both schools garnered only three distinction designations or awards for performance. These are in Science, Social Studies and post-secondary.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Arlington High School. They make up for 50.23% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (23.68%), African Americans (19.46%), Two or More Races (3.88%), Asians (1.90%) and Native Americans (0.62%).

The student population at Martin High School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 38.02%, followed by Hispanics (27.95%), African Americans (19.60%), Asians (9.22%), Two or More Races (4.53%) and Native Americans (0.42%).

Based on household incomes, Arlington High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 65.89% compared to 42.40% at Martin High School.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Arlington High School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 25.19% of its student population compared to 7.67% at Martin High School.

In addition, Arlington High School has 24.69% bilingual students, 14.77% are in the gifted and talented program, while 10.35% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Martin High School with 7.38% bilingual students, 16.80% gifted and talented students and 9.08% students in the special education program.

Arlington High School's 158 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 8.2 years with individual teaching experience averaging nearly 11.3 years. Martin High School's 195 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 9.1 years with individual teaching experience averaging close to 12.9 years.

Of its teaching staff, Arlington High School has six teachers serving the school for over 30 years, has 21 teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 44 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, 31 teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while 41 teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including 16 beginning teachers. Martin High School has seven teachers serving the school for over 30 years, has 39 teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 60 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, 39 teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while 44 teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including seven beginning teachers.

In both schools, female teachers outnumber the male teachers. Arlington High School employs 92 female teachers and 66 male teachers. Of its teaching staff, 16 special education teachers are being assisted by 14 teachers aides or paraprofessionals. The school also employs eight staff members in the school administration department and 16 more working as school support staff.

On the other hand, Martin High School employs 109 female teachers and 86 male teachers. Of its teaching staff, 14 special education teachers are being assisted by 12 teachers aides or paraprofessionals.
