Park View Intermediate earned a State accountability rating of B (80-89) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 74 in student achievement, 85 in school progress and 81 in closing performance gaps. It scored 84 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Miller Intermediate performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A. The school posted 80 in student achievement, 90 in school progress, 91 in closing performance gaps and 90 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

It is in this area where the two schools differ. Park View Intermediate’s three out of seven distinctions are in Social Studies, post-secondary and with 25% student progress. Miller Intermediate's six out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Science, Social Studies, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Park View Intermediate is Hispanics who make up nearly 82.14% of student population, followed by African Americans (10.15%), Whites or Caucasians (5.83%), Two or More Races (0.75%), Asians (0.56%) and Native Americans (0.38%).

At Miller Intermediate, Hispanics make up 90.26% of student population, followed by African Americans (5.90%), Whites or Caucasians (3.46%), Asians (0.26%) and Two or More Races (0.13%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.

Based on household incomes, Park View Intermediate’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly higher at 89.47% compared to 86.03% at Miller Intermediate.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Park View Intermediate has 216 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 40.60% of student population. Miller Intermediate has significantly more ELLs at 417 or about 53.46% of student population.

In addition, Park View Intermediate has 36.09% bilingual students, 4.14% are in the gifted and talented program, while 18.80% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Miller Intermediate with 57.69% bilingual students, 15.13% gifted and talented students and 12.82% students in the special education program.

Park View Intermediate's 40 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 7.7 years with individual teaching experience averaging 9.3 years. Teachers at Miller Intermediate, numbering 58 teachers, have been serving the school for an average of 7.4 years with individual teaching experience averaging 9 years.

Of its teaching staff, Park View Intermediate no teacher serving the school for over 30 years, has four teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 13 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, eight teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while 14 teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including two beginning teachers. Miller Intermediate has one teacher only serving the school for over 30 years, has three teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 18 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, 13 teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while 12 teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including 11 beginning teachers.

In both schools, female teachers outnumber the male teachers. At Park View Intermediate there are 23 female teachers and 16 male teachers. Of its teaching staff, eight teachers are in special education without any assistance.

At Miller Intermediate there are 41 female teachers and 17 male teachers. Of its teaching staff, ten special education teachers are being assisted by 15 teachers aides or paraprofessionals. In addition to its teaching staff, the school has four staff members in the school administration department and five more working as school support staff.
