Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Bellfort Early Childhood Center is Hispanics who make up nearly 80.87% of student population, followed by African Americans (17.49%), Whites or Caucasians (1.37%) and Asians (0.27%). There is no Native Americans and Two or More Racesstudents in the school.
At Foster Elementary School, African Americans make up 87.21% of student population, followed by Hispanics (11.00%), Whites or Caucasians (0.77%), Two or More Races (0.77%) and Native Americans (0.26%). There is no Asians student in the school.
Based on household incomes, Bellfort Early Childhood Center’s economically disadvantaged students is higher at 98.91% compared to 98.21% at Foster Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Bellfort Early Childhood Center has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 64.75% of its student population compared to 5.37% at Foster Elementary School.
Bellfort Early Childhood Center’s bilingual students comprise 64.48%, gifted and talented students, 1.09%, while 6.56% are in the special education program. Foster Elementary School bilingual students comprise 5.37%, gifted and talented students, 0.51%, and 7.67% are in the special education program.
