Hightower High School earned a State accountability rating of D (60-69) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, African Americans comprise the biggest group at Hightower High School. They make up for 55.77% of student population, followed by Hispanics (33.61%), Asians (5.62%), Two or More Races (2.92%), Whites or Caucasians (1.31%) and Native Americans (0.57%).

At Willowridge High School, Hispanics are the biggest group, comprising 55.98% of student population, followed by African Americans (40.15%), Whites or Caucasians (1.53%), Two or More Races (1.45%), Asians (0.48%) and Native Americans (0.32%).

Based on household incomes, the Hightower High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 59.34% compared to 79.32% at Willowridge High School.
