Needville High School earned a State accountability rating of B (80-89) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. It is in this area where the two schools differ. Except for Science, Needville High School earned one out of seven distinctions. East Bernard High School's two out of seven distinctions are in Science and with 25% student progress.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Needville High School. They make up for 48.24% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (46.44%), African Americans (3.24%), Two or More Races (1.26%), Asians (0.54%) and Native Americans (0.18%).

At East Bernard High School, Whites or Caucasians are the biggest group, comprising 59.47% of student population, followed by Hispanics (32.89%), African Americans (6.98%) and Two or More Races (0.66%). There is no Asians and Native Americansstudents in the school.

Based on household incomes, Needville High School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly higher at 36.81% compared to 29.90% at East Bernard High School.
