Argyle High School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A (90-100) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 90 in student achievement, 82 in school progress and 94 in closing performance gaps. It scored 91 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Guyer High School also performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A. The school posted 92 in student achievement, 83 in school progress, 92 in closing performance gaps and 92 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Argyle High School's three out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics, Social Studies and with 25% student progress. Guyer High School did not earn any distinction.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Argyle High School. They make up for 63.18% of student population, followed by Hispanics (16.07%), Asians (12.05%), Two or More Races (4.99%), African Americans (2.98%) and Native Americans (0.67%).

The student population at Guyer High School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 51.34%, followed by Hispanics (30.93%), African Americans (8.34%), Asians (5.08%), Two or More Races (3.80%) and Native Americans (0.35%).

Based on household incomes, the Argyle High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 5.60% compared to 24.37% at Guyer High School.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Argyle High School has 32 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 1.95% of student population. Guyer High School has significantly more ELLs at 279 or about 10.83% of student population.

In addition, Argyle High School has 2.19% bilingual students, 8.64% are in the gifted and talented program, while 7.30% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Guyer High School with 10.67% bilingual students, 15.21% gifted and talented students and 10.24% students in the special education program.

Argyle High School's 99 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 4.8 years with individual teaching experience averaging nearly 13.6 years. Guyer High School's 170 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 9 years with individual teaching experience averaging close to 13.5 years.

Of its teaching staff, Argyle High School has five teachers serving the school for over 30 years, has 16 teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 37 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, 19 teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while 20 teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including three beginning teachers.
