Ryan High School earned a State accountability rating of B (80-89) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 84 in student achievement, 82 in school progress and 92 in closing performance gaps. It scored 86 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Guyer High School performed excellent to earn a State accountability rating of A. The school posted 92 in student achievement, 83 in school progress, 92 in closing performance gaps and 92 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Ryan High School's three out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Guyer High School did not earn any distinction.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Ryan High School. They make up for 45.66% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (28.05%), African Americans (19.95%), Two or More Races (3.66%), Asians (2.05%) and Native Americans (0.54%).

The student population at Guyer High School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 51.34%, followed by Hispanics (30.93%), African Americans (8.34%), Asians (5.08%), Two or More Races (3.80%) and Native Americans (0.35%).

Based on household incomes, Ryan High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 57.90% compared to 24.37% at Guyer High School.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Ryan High School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 22.59% of its student population compared to 10.83% at Guyer High School.

In addition, Ryan High School has 22.29% bilingual students, 12.44% are in the gifted and talented program, while 12.54% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Guyer High School with 10.67% bilingual students, 15.21% gifted and talented students and 10.24% students in the special education program.

Ryan High School's 161 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 8.6 years with individual teaching experience averaging nearly 12.8 years. Guyer High School's 170 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 9 years with individual teaching experience averaging close to 13.5 years.

Of its teaching staff, Ryan High School has eight teachers serving the school for over 30 years, has 31 teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 51 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, 32 teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while 36 teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including five beginning teachers. In both schools, female teachers outnumber the male teachers. Ryan High School employs 85 female teachers and 76 male teachers.
