Lone Star High School was accorded a State accountability rating of C (70-79) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Distinction Designations for Lone Star High School and Ray Braswell High School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Lone Star High School. They make up for 34.38% of student population, followed by Asians (25.18%), Hispanics (16.77%), African Americans (16.42%), Two or More Races (6.41%) and Native Americans (0.75%).

The student population at Ray Braswell High School is also predominantly by African Americans at 41.20%, followed by Hispanics (24.82%), Whites or Caucasians (23.72%), Two or More Races (5.27%), Asians (4.27%) and Native Americans (0.61%).

Based on household incomes, the Lone Star High School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 15.67% compared to 45.55% at Ray Braswell High School.
