Sst Alamo earned a State accountability rating of B (80-89) based on three domains: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps. Scores are scaled from 0 to 100 to align with letter grades. The school scored 82 in student achievement, 85 in school progress and 76 in closing performance gaps. It scored 82 overall in post-secondary readiness, a broad term that refers to student preparedness to undertake multiple pathways after graduation, or specifically, their preparedness for college education.

On the other hand, Sst Spring also earned a State accountability rating of B. The school posted 75 in student achievement, 77 in school progress, 87 in closing performance gaps and 80 overall in post-secondary readiness.

A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Sst Alamo's one out of seven distinction is in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA). Sst Spring did not earn any distinction.

Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Sst Alamo. They make up for 64.98% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (19.81%), African Americans (10.38%), Two or More Races (3.18%) and Asians (1.65%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.

At Sst Spring, Hispanics are the biggest group, comprising 59.95% of student population, followed by African Americans (25.98%), Whites or Caucasians (7.03%), Asians (3.34%), Two or More Races (3.10%) and Native Americans (0.48%).

Based on household incomes, the Sst Alamo’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 54.13% compared to 62.81% at Sst Spring.

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Sst Alamo has 126 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 14.86% of student population. Sst Spring has significantly more ELLs at 206 or about 24.55% of student population.

Sst Alamo’s bilingual students comprise 14.15%, gifted and talented students, 10.02%, while 17.92% are in the special education program. Sst Spring bilingual students comprise 22.17%, gifted and talented students, 10.01%, and 8.58% are in the special education program.

49 teachers employed at Sst Alamo have been teaching in the school for an average of about 3.1 years with individual teaching experience averaging 9.1 years. The 51 teachers at Sst Spring have been serving the school for an average of 2.2 years with individual teaching experience averaging 5.7 years.

Of its teaching staff, Sst Alamo no teacher serving the school for over 30 years, has five teachers serving the school for 20-30 years, 14 teachers have worked for 11-20 years, 14 teachers have worked for 6-10 years, while ten teachers have been serving the school for over 1-5 years, including seven beginning teachers.
