Outdoor Kitchens

Outdoor kitchens were on their way out (in our area) in 2019...but they have now seen a return in popularity! Dining al fresco is so much better with a grill for cooking burgers, a fridge for storing ice-cold drinks, and a sink for cleaning up all the mess. We are also in love with cooking fish outdoors! Bonus: no added aroma in the house. Grilling on the back porch is a great way to spend some needed time outdoors after working inside all day!

Social Front Yards

Many homeowners starting to turn front porches and front yards into inviting hangout spots for neighbors and friends. Oversized (and layered) porch rugs are welcoming, but don't forget chairs, benches, tables, and even accessories like lounge pillows and lanterns.

Outdoor Tech

Exterior TVs, Bluetooth speakers, LED lighting, and more techy touches are helping homeowners find the right ambiance in their outdoor living areas. As our homes become smarter, our outdoor spaces are following suit!

Lighting

Lighting can transform the mood of any space. Install uplighting to illuminate trees, shrubs, and flowers at night. Install string lights over arbors and fences to create a calm, inviting atmosphere well after the sun goes down. Don't forget a ceiling fan with lights for a covered patio. It is a huge help during the humid summer months!
