Oh the Nature of it!

I was pleasantly surprised by this 'out of the way' community. Located by Galveston Bay in Texas City. It is quite a drive, so far so good from the visuals. What I appreciated most was the peacefulness of what the natural surroundings offered upon arriving. There were people fishing and parasailing outside of the entrance of the community. The perfect morning or evening run or walk spot near the water for sure! There was a time when I'd get up in the mornings during the Summer months and drive out to Galveston and walk the seawall to catch the sunrise. That's been a long while ago, but I was reminded of how much I do love the water and how good I felt after those morning walks. Living in this waterfront community, a peaceful walk or run is at your beck and call with wonderful views. My Open House visit to Grand Cay Harbour didn't have the same type of feel of homes on the water similar to the Bayou Vista community, Harbor Walk, or Omega Bay, a bit different perhaps because it's newer. Check out the scenery and the lovely homes built by David Weekley Homes.  https://www.har.com/s/85F8053C16481F

The interior(s) is cozy with nice detail. These homes offer wide spacious rooms, baths, and staircases. There are also possibilities for 'safe' or 'panic' rooms built into the interior of these homes. I typically love homes with big back yards and trees which is why I was pleasantly surprised. It makes my job a lot easier if I am showing homes that I too can love and see myself living in.  These are on the higher end of the purchasing price points in home buying, offering special amenities like a boat slip and deck right on the water.  No backyard, but a cute front yard with plenty of driveway and garage space.  Check out the listing I toured during an agent's Open House over the weekend via HAR.COM via the MLS system or on my Realtor Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/ManifestGood
