For many years, Sawyer Yards has helped shape the surrounding neighborhood by drawing people in from all over town with their Second Saturday market and open studios. They paved the way for new breweries like Holler and Platypus to open close by and have drawn the restaurants on Washington closer to downtown. Now, I'm excited for even more people to come on over and experience something they might have done as a kid or even introduce their children to a favorite pastime of drive-in movies via the brand new Drive-In at Sawyer Yards.

I'm thrilled to have a drive-in so close to home. When I was younger, we used to get a group together and drive out to Tomball to go to The Show Boat Drive-In and watch the double feature. Now there is a great place to go and watch the classics just down the street. It's $28 per vehicle so pack up the family or your quaranteam and head over. Don't forget to swing by Buffalo Bayou Brewing's new digs and grab snacks or a drink while you're down here!
