Welcome to the month of April. By the time you are reading this, you will be deep into it. That means I can’t play any April Fool jokes on you. Never been a fan of those anyway. When my kids were younger, they would play pranks all the time, only to announce it was a big April Fool’s Joke.

One thing I’m sure we all wish was a joke is COVID-19. Please stay safe and take care of your community. Our homes during this time are a refuge for us that we are all thankful for. (Turn to page three for some helpful tips)

Both things I mentioned above are for sure conversation starters, one full of funny stories, the other maybe not so much, but there are very few days more memorable than the day you buy your dream home. That day is supposed to be fun, exciting and a great feeling of accomplishment.

In fact, if it’s OK with you, let me focus just a bit on the referral request.  My team and I are eager to help anyone you know wanting to make a move so much so that we are willing to make an offer that they will love.

Having peace of mind and getting top dollar for your home. Experience counts!

If you or anyone you know is considering making a move, we would like to offer them a FREE No Obligation Market Analysis that will give them a real idea of what they can expect to sell their home for. Just like we are thankful for you and your business, I am confident your referrals will be thanking you for steering them in the right direction on getting their home sold!

This year, we are on a mission to raise $10,000 for SEARCH Homeless Services! As a leading non-profit, SEARCH depends on sponsorships and donations to continue its leading-edge service. We proudly donate a portion of our income from real estate sales to SEARCH because everyone deserves a place to call home!

Today, SEARCH has become the region’s leading agency in helping people move from the streets into jobs and safe, stable housing to break free from the cycle of poverty and homelessness. SEARCH’s efforts now go beyond meeting basic needs to ensure that their clients obtain permanent housing, increase their income, and live a more healthy life, They place their clients in a stable home and then provide extensive case management and wrap-around services to help them stabilize their lives in order to remain housed.

For most people, the immediate risk of becoming seriously ill from the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be negligible. However, older adults and people of any age with underlying health conditions, such as diabetes, lung disease, or heart disease, are at greater risk of severe illness from COVID-19.

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands

Stay home

Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

You can help stop COVID-19 by knowing the signs and symptoms:

Fever

Cough

Shortness of breath

Seek medical advice if you

Develop symptoms

If you do develop symptoms, call ahead before you go to a doctor’s office or emergency room. Tell them about your recent travel and your symptoms.

I hope you and your family are well and this month brings you safety and happiness.
