Location: Boundaries are Hermann Park, 288, Main, and Alabama which means you're close to the TMC, Downtown, Rice University, TSU, & U of H. It's a mix of 3-story townhomes and original homes from the 1930s with tree-lined streets. You'll see neighbors walking dogs, a few pushing strollers, and joggers.

Museum is its first name: Nestled in the neighborhood itself are two unique treasures: the Holocaust Museum Houston and Asia Society. You are on the edge of the Museum District, which includes the ever popular Children's Museum, The Health Museum, MFAH, and on and on.

Park is its second name: Hermann Park is a hop, skip and a jump away. There you'll find a running trail, beautiful gardens, beloved Miller Outdoor Theatre, and a golf course.

The Zoo! If you don't mind a little walk or bike ride, you can avoid the parking lot drama at the zoo altogether. It's fairly full on holidays and weekends. Trust me on this. Going to the Houston Zoo is a wonderful way to spend the day and they have fantastic holiday lights too.

You won't starve: No matter your budget or taste. Some choices include: Korean fried chicken, gargantuan salads, Indian street food with a twist, decadent turkey legs, sushi, tacos, Gulf Coast comfort food, vegan, the best fried catfish in town.

To learn more about what it's like to live in Museum Park visit museumparkna.org or call me. I'd love to show you some homes and show you firsthand what makes this neighborhood so special.
