Building a new home this year? It has never been more important to have an independent inspector oversee the building process of your home! Why? First it has always been important, as a Broker and having been in the construction industry for 23 years, you can't have too many eyes on your most valuable asset! But this year, more than ever, with the shortage of employment, intensified with Harvey, the construction industry is scrambling for good crews! I personally have never seen the poor level of attention to everything from framing and windows to the finishing touches that make a house a home! You can get an inspector to do a 3 Phase Inspection, which is during the Framing, Sheetrock and Final stages of the home! At the very least, have a final inspection! The builders will tell you it's been done 40 times and in 17 years of new home construction, I have NEVER seen a clean report! Inspect, Inspect and Inspect today folks!
