For the past three years, Chinese investors have been the top foreign nation for USA real estate investment. How that investment is occuring has changed in the last years, as the Chinese government has tightened control over international investment capital. In the past, a lot of Chinese investment has been in the luxury market, but this new capital restriction has resulted in online viewership increases in homes below $500,000. And, according to Carole Ellis, editor-in-chief of Think Realty Magazing, the top three USA cities for Chinese investment today are: Boston, Chicago and Houston.
