2014 City News Releases Posted on: December 2, 2014 Winter Wonderland Set for Dec. 13 Sugar Land, TX - Winter is just around the corner, and the Imperial Park Recreation Center invites parents to bring their little one to the 4th annual Winter Wonderland on Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Imperial Park Recreation Center, 234 Matlage Way, next to Imperial Park and the T.E. Harman Center. Winter Wonderland offers an opportunity to get some last minute holiday shopping done, take some time alone or have lunch with friends. Children will have a day packed with hours of fun activities including entertainment, crafts and lots of real snow. Santa and Mrs. Claus will even stop by to make sure all the kids stay on the nice list. Winter Wonderland is open to children ages 5 to 12, and registration is now open. Imperial Park Recreation Center members can sign up their children for $5 each, and non-members can sign up for $20 per child. Space is limited and pre-registration is required, so call today. Snacks and lunch will be provided, and each child will receive a free event t-shirt. Winter Wonderland will open the snow play area to the general public from 2-4 p.m. for anyone not able to register for the event. During this time, there will also be a moonwalk, crafts and free hot chocolate.
