Excuse me for a moment while I step on my soapbox...

I don't know about you but I am sick and tired of hearing nothing but negative news.  It's everywhere.  It's in every walk of life.  It's in most every conversation.  Well, guess what - negativity breeds negativity!

We all need to work toward turning this around.  This article talks about how Persistence Pays Off.  I believe that completely.  If we want to get over that mountain, we have to keep moving forward.  Do negative things happen?  Are there negative things in our lives?  The answer is - Yes!  Are we going to let them take over us and "win?"  I hope your answer is - No!  My answer is - No!  We may not win every battle but we can keep fighting to win the war.  If you give up and if you listen to nothing but naysayers, then you have already lost.  I don't want to lose; do you?

The 5 simple recommendations in this article are:

1 - Take actions every day - keep moving in the right direction

2 - Keep showing up - keep putting one foot in front of the other and get out there

3 - Remain objective about your obstacles - move over, around or under your challenges

4 - Learn to say - Next! - try, try again

5 - Track your progress - see how much closer you are today to your goal than you were yesterday

We can all realize our goals if we don't give up or give in to the "negative waves." :)

Think about it!
