A FRESH ANGLE

Thanks to Dwell for another feature article, found on twitter, on an amazing home.  I could spend hours looking through the pictures.  The design, windows and angles really take in the picturesque surroundings.  Care taken to preserve and respect the reclaimed materials used creates not only a beautiful home but makes it truly unique.  I love how the pine floors found in many 1920's era homes, like those found in The Heights, are full of character with their nicks and cuts.  So these 100+ year beams reclaimed from area warehouses would just make me wonder what story they could tell.  And to me, add to the character and charm of this home.

The corner door fascinates me.  I mean who thinks of these things and then figures out how to actually do them is definitely a genius.  And those accordion doors really do blur the line between the interior and outside.

Peruse through these at your leisure.  And if you're like me, dream of living here….even if just for a moment.

Happy Holidays,
Rhonda
