Hello All,

Welcome to our first blog with KL Integrity Group. Today's topic is about why it's super important to have a good realtor when buying or selling your home. It has come to my attention that the recent NAR settlement has highlighted the importance of commissions worldwide. This situation arose due to the presence of both bad agents and amazing agents who go above and beyond for their clients. This blog isn't about the ongoing settlement but rather aims to educate consumers on why having a good realtor is crucial.

A good realtor is more than just someone who opens doors. They are detail-oriented with a keen eye for spotting flaws and imperfections in a home. Realtors serve as advisors, helping protect you from making a purchase that could lead to future problems. We spend a significant amount of time examining details. When you find a home you love, we draft contracts and negotiate with the other party to ensure you're not deceived. Realtors are there to protect your interests and secure the best deal possible. It's crucial for realtors to know how to negotiate; otherwise, you might end up paying full price for no reason if they lack experience.

When selling a home, a good realtor spends time analyzing comparables—other homes sold within a certain timeframe. We conduct thorough research before even visiting properties. When the time is right, we suggest the right price after inspecting the home thoroughly. A good realtor should be able to market your home aggressively and get your home sold within 60 days if possible. We get paid for dealing with all the incoming calls and negotiations, which often goes unnoticed.

To be fully transparent, a good realtor must juggle multiple roles. We act as therapists, consultants, painters, babysitters, and more. Many people don't realize the variety of roles we must assume to make deals happen sometimes. This concludes today's blog; we hope you found it informative.
