I love reading all wonderful things about our great city, Houston, Texas and the surrounding suburbs. I have lived here since 2000 and it is truly my heart and home. As we start a new year, 2024, I love looking back at numbers and data from 2023 to reflect and aid on direction of goal setting for the new year. Of course, I am looking up data all real estate related.....lol.....my heart and passion. With that being said, I saw an article today from Builder Online that posted the Top 10-Selling U.S. Master-Planned Communities of 2023 and guess who made the list? Houston and not 1 but 2 of our master-planned communities made the list. Yahoo and Let's Go Houston. Let me list the 2 Top Selling communities so you can explore and see why.

# 3 of the Top 10-Selling U.S. Master- Planned Communities of 2023 was Sunterra. Sunterra is located in Katy, Texas near I-10 Katy Freeway and W Grand Parkway N (99), it couldn't be more convenient of a location. In 2023, it had a total sales of 1,293 homes. It was ranked the #1 selling Master-Planned community in Houston of 2023. It is a 2,303-acre master-planned community that calls for approximately 7,000 homes. There are 30 neighborhoods and pricing is $300,00-$800,000. #5 of the Top-Selling U.S. Master-Planned Communities of 2023 was Bridgeland. Bridgeland is located in Cypress, Texas...it is tucked away between W. Grand Parkway N. (99), 290 North and Highway 6 it is conveniently located for almost any commute. In 2023, it had a total sales of 985 homes. It is ranked a top selling Master-Planned community in Houston of 2023. It is a 3,000 acre master-planned community, 900 acres of lakes and waterways, recreational activity complexes, self sustaining irrigation, 250 miles of trails, and much much more.
