Mondays with Marnie It's Time To Freak Out!

We all love the dreaded questions of "Are you ready for Christmas?" "Have you finished your shopping?" "Do you have all of your Hanukkah gifts?". This can be all too stressful for a lot of us. I see friends feeling the pressure of getting just the right gifts and to plan the perfect holiday meal. Well guess what, if you are going to freak out, it's time! There are 7 days left to plan and shop. If you are cool as a cucumber, you can sit back and chill. My ex-husband was cool as a cucumber and calmly did ALL of his shopping on Christmas Eve. Ya gotta love those people.

I did ALL of my shopping online this year and it was a breeze. The only gifts I bought in person are those for a family that I adopted from Kid's Meals. We made it an office outing and had a blast choosing gifts for the kiddos and their single mother. We get to deliver everything to their home this week and I can't wait to see the kid's faces when they see us put up a tree and leave it full of presents underneath. Now, that is real stress. A family that can't afford to purchase a tree or one gift for their kids. They will undoubtedly be thrilled to get anything on Christmas morning.

Let's not forget the gifts all around us that can not be purchased. The friends, our health, warm homes, family, delicious meals , the ability to give back and so much more.
