I found my new home here in November of 2000. Prior to that I lived in Canada for 3 years, and I was born and raised in the Czech Republic. I am happily married to my wonderful husband, Richard, and I am proud mom of 21 year old son, Patrick and grandma to Paizley. I love to travel, read and spend as much time outdoors as possible. When I am not working with a client, you can find me in the pool!

After graduating from Texas A&M University with a BSEd in Psychology and Biology, I taught school for eight years in the Klein School District. Additionally, I became a published writer and business owner. However, during this time I discovered my true ambition while acting as a contractor for my first home that I built in the Champion Forest area. This started my career in the housing industry, and I soon started buying, remodeling, staging, and selling home after home. My true passion turned into my career as a realtor, and the rest is history. I bring my knowledge of the area, remodeling, buying, selling, staging, writing, and marketing to my real estate business.

Katja moved from Mexico to The Woodlands in 2010 and received her Real Estate license 4 years later. She moved to Tomball in December 2018 and joined the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene in January, 2020. She holds a special interest in the Residential real estate market in North Houston and surrounding areas. Katja is also fluent in German and Spanish, from her time spent living in Germany and Mexico, which has been a great tool in her career. Her husband has worked in construction as an inspector, warranty specialist, in the pool business, and as a home-builder. A lot of her free time is spent volunteering at her kid's school and church. Katja loves her Real Estate career because it gives her an opportunity to keep learning every day, and the chance to meet new people, as well as helping her clients to fulfill their dream and preparing for new opportunities and adventures.
