Amassing sales of almost a quarter of a billion dollars to date, Marilyn Carson's real estate career began in 1997 as the first agent to join Beth Ferester's new mentor program launched at Ferester & Company in Houston, Texas. Learning from the best, Marilyn quickly went on to receive numerous awards and accolades including the Top 100 Realtors in Houston, top listing agent in Houston's major master planned community, Gleannloch Farms, as well as the Greater Houston Builder's Association Realtor of the Year. In 2014, Marilyn and her husband Clay were relocated to NW Florida's Hwy. 30A, where Marilyn continued her real estate career with Rosemary Beach Realty and later Corcoran Reverie. While living there full time, Marilyn sold over 100 million in luxury real estate and investment properties and has retained her Florida license and is still highly active in 30A real estate to date. In 2019, Marilyn's growing family called her back home to the Houston area where she has reunited with her longtime friend and mentor Beth Ferester. In 2020 her first full year back in The Woodlands, Marilyn was among the top 3 agents at the company and in 2021 she rose to the companies top producing agent. Marilyn and her husband reside in Creekside Park in The Woodlands, TX. Marilyn has two fantastic children and through all of her success is most proud to be GiGi to her grandsons Colin and Liam. Marilyn graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas before attending The University of Texas and later graduating from the University of Houston with a BA in Advertising where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. I earned my professional license in July 2015 and started her new venture at Keller Williams, The Woodlands and Magnolia in August 2015. In my first year, I came out swinging. I was the KW the Woodlands and Magnolia 2016 "Rookie of the Year," and was invited to the Agency Leadership Council, an honor only given to those who are nominated by their peers. Six months into my career, I was nominated for the Eagle Award, which is one of the highest awards for any real estate agent. I was also welcomed into the KW President's Circle in 2017, and from the start has been in the top three in individual volume, listings, and closed units for KW the Woodlands and Magnolia. In 2018, I was No. 1 in closed units, which is yet another major milestone. In early 2020 I made an exciting and big change to move my team to RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring which within their first two years at RE/MAX they've accomplished Texas Top 500 in both 2020 and 2021, and was also awarded Platinum Club in 2020. I continue to grow my team and have expanded into Austin and Dallas Texas.
