Since I was a child I have been interested in real estate. My father was a builder and my mother a Realtor. Homes and their construction were frequent topics of conversation. It is fair to say I earned a dinner table degree at a young age. This passion has stuck with me from childhood through adulthood. I attended Houston Community College for my real estate training. I have been with RE/MAX for the past 12 years. I have a creative side and enjoy decorating, art, painting drawing and other creative pursuits. Bernadette also has a strong commitment to giving back to the community. She is one of the co-founders of the non-profit CAFA Foundation which is dedicated to providing scholarships to needy Garifuna high school students in Punta Gorda, Belize. Since its inception in 2002 the Foundation has funded 62 scholarships. There are currently 21 student participants in the program. Bernadette is actively involved in all aspects of the day-to-day activities of running the Foundation. Despite leading a busy lifestyle, Bernadette always makes sure to enjoy spending time with family, to explore the nooks and crannies of the greater Houston area as well of checking off items on her bucket list.
