A short & simple description of what I do as a licensed Realtor is that I help people change their living space & improve their quality of life by adding to their net worth by property appreciation or investing in property that cash-flows. My goal is to streamline a very detailed process & hopefully create an easy transition. . . so that a potentially stressful time is minimized. And, my intention in working with my clients is to clarify & simplify the real estate transaction by listening to their needs & wants, providing quality information and by being a resource for finding solutions & addressing any potential issue beforehand that might blow the deal.

Originally from Corpus Christi Tx, chose Houston to live, for its vibrancy, fun & business opportunities in the early 80’s. While attending college, had the opportunity to study at the University of the Americas in Puebla Mexico, the University of Guadalajara in Guadalajara Mexico, before graduating from the University of Texas in Austin, with a BA in Sociology. My prior career before practicing real estate, was working as a producer & host in the media (TV) as well was working as a freelance professional photographer.

When it’s time for a personal break from practicing real estate, New Mexico is my favorite destination point. . as I used to live there. Ask me about what to do when you're visiting Albuquerque or Santa Fe,.

Somer holds a J.D. from South Texas College of Law and a B.A. in Mass Communications from The University of Texas Pan-American. She is a member of the State Bar of Alabama, American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, a Certified Mediator, and a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Outside of work, Somer enjoys assisting her clients with home renovation projects, participating in community events, and contributing to pro bono legal work. As a former court-appointed Child Advocate for foster children in Harris County, she enjoys dedicating time to her volunteer work as a member of Child Advocates' Young Professionals for Children.
