In addition to my professional agenda, I am a hospital chaplain and have an advanced education in the field of theology. I received a master's degree in pastoral care in chaplaincy from the Georgia Association for Pastoral Care, a Master of Arts degree in divinity from Liberty School of Theology, a degree in biblical studies and human resources from Atlanta Christian College, and a degree in interior design from Penn Foster University. I am also a REBAC real estate designation instructor.



I maintain an active profile within my community. I am also on the board of the Zoological Association with the Georgia Conservatory Safari Park as well as a member of the Executive Leadership Volunteer Board for the American Heart Association.



I have been endorsed by Ella's Heart Foundation, a non-profit organization that I founded and named after my mother, who passed away suddenly from heart disease. I also support Go Red for Women and The American Red Cross.

I am originally from Galveston where I spent my first 40 years. After the family business was sold I moved to Houston and began a career as a residential real estate appraiser in the early 1990s. I miss Galveston but still manage to get down there to see family and friends from time to time. I enjoy walking along the seawall and on a beautiful day look out over the water and watch the porpoises playing in the distance. I'll let you in on a little secret. I know this sounds crazy but I miss the smell of seaweed. I must really be a Galvestonian at heart. Right? In the late 1990s I transitioned from residential to appraising commercial real estate and traveled all over the country doing so. In 2015 I decided again to make a career change. After spending over 20 years as a Real Estate appraiser, I decided to end that chapter of my life and transition to selling real estate. Based on my background of over 25 years in real estate, I am able to assist my clients in determining a reasonable market value of their property and selling or purchasing it at the best possible price. I am a bit of a serial real estate entrepreneur. I own and manage Rifle Real Estate Company, a commercial brokerage and management company. I am also a partner in Rifle Development Company, a commercial land development company. Most recently, we launched Ai Realty - a tech enabled, producer-owned, residential brokerage firm.

As the managing partner of our Rifle, I lean on over 3 million square feet of development, construction and brokerage experience, along with 15 years in the public and private sectors to serve our clients. I know the complexities of doing business in our Houston market.

To put some common language around the commercial real estate business, I earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in early 2019. The institute describes the CCIM pin as designation conferred to recognized experts in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate, and earned by just the top 6% of professionals across North America. As a "student of the game" I am currently pursuing the CCIM Development Specialist Designation.

As an active volunteer with community organizations like United City Church, the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the Houston A&M club, and as a Leadership North Houston alum, I know how to help QB processes involving diverse personalities.
