I was a youth pastor in Alvin for many years, and I continue to have that strong desire to serve people. In 2014, I was named the Citizen of the Year by the Alvin-Manvel Area Chamber of Commerce. In the last few years, I served as the chair of the Youth Roundtable Committee for the Chamber.
