Sommer is the TCR Galveston Office Manager. She assists in the sales and marketing of Galveston properties in addition to coordinating the other TCR Galveston Agents. In addition, she manages the TCR Vacation Rental Program. Prior to working for TCR, Sommer served as a Transaction/Advertising Coordinator in real estate. In this role, she assisted agents in advertising and social media to gain prospects as well as train new agents with tools to grow their business. Sommer uses her creativity and technical skills to promote the goals of the company. Providing excellent customer service to clients has always been her top priority.

I was raised in the South Texas town of Kingsville, home of the King Ranch (one of the worlds largest), about 50 miles Southwest of Corpus Christi. My father was a home remodeling contractor and also owned a small paint and hardware store. After graduating high school, I worked with him in both the store and in the remodeling business, learning about home renovation. While working with him, I also attended Texas A&M University-Kingsville, majoring in Finance and minoring in General Business. In May of 1983, I began my real estate career with a Texas Real Estate Sales license, and I attained my Texas Brokers License in February of 1986. More than twenty years of working in the Historical Homes market of Galveston gives me a great background to help you find the right house easily and with minimal effort. With an annual average of 25 transactions buying, selling, and leasing properties dating from the turn of the 20th century, I have the experience needed to evaluate the property involved and determine the right pricing. I have been active in the restoration of my own Victorian era houses, and was actively involved in laying the groundwork for the formation of the San Jacinto Historical Conservation District. Currently I serve as the Texas Realtor's Region 10 political involvement committee representative. I am a past Chair of the Galveston Association of Realtors, have been Chair of the GAR Multiple Listing Service, Chair of the City of Galveston Arts and Historic Advisory Committee.
