Shanon Royko

Hi, my name is Shanon Royko. I grew up in a small oilfield and farming community in Northwestern Canada. Big moves are no stranger to me as when the opportunity arose to transfer to Houston my husband Dave, our two children and I were excited to take on the adventure. Of course I must admit the warmer climate was very persuasive. We moved to the Kingwood-Porter area in 1996 and have been proud to call it “home” ever since. After graduating college my professional career took on a political path where I worked with legislation, contracts and accounting. Once moving to Texas and with much hard work and dedication we eventually owned and operated a small oilfield instrumentation company. Being a “nester” at heart I have always dabbled in home decorating and remodeling and feel very blessed that I am now able to pursue a career in Real Estate. My proudest project was designing and landscaping our back yard. I love the outdoors and one can usually find me gardening, re-finishing a piece of furniture, or enjoying a good Texas bar-b-q surrounded by family and friends. I am extremely excited to have joined the RE/MAX team as I’ve always believed in following my dreams and would be honored to work hard for you in helping you follow your dream of homeownership in any community that is right for you.
