Originally from Quebec City, Canada, Michele Sergie is now a naturalized American who has lived in Texas since 1976. As a multicultural traveler, she has a special sense of home. There truly is no other place like it, she says. I wish for nothing more than for my customers to feel exactly the same way. After Michele and her husband moved to the U.S., she worked as a social studies teacher and as an administrator in her husband's medical practice. But her people talents blossomed in real estate: problem-solving, flexibility, and a deep understanding of a diverse range of clients, aided by her fluency in French. Real estate came naturally: She took a friend to an open house and, while explaining its construction, she was asked what company she worked for. The agent thought she was already a pro.
