*EXPERIENCE * EXPERIENCE* 54 YEARS FULL TIME AS A LICENSED AGENT AND BROKER* For the past 53 years, I have been engaged in the real estate business full time as a salesperson. Beginning as a Realtor in August 1967, and receiving my Brokers license in August of 1972. Prior to receiving my real estate license, I worked in the title Industry as a runner, an abstractor, an examiner and then closer (today referred to as an escrow officer.) The title business led to my interest in real estate. Residential, as well as commercial, are my areas of expertise. I recently received the designation of REALTOR EMERITUS from the National Association of REALTORS for having served over 40 years to our industry.I have been a past President of the Galveston Association of REALTORS, served on various committees, including Professional Standards, Education , MLS and Secretary of the Board of Directors. Voted Best REALTOR in Galveston in 2003 by the Galveston County Daily News . I was an adjunct instructor in real estate for 17 years at Galveston College. Taught many courses in different areas of our business. I participated in several developments of historical properties on the island as well as resort properties on the west end beach and bay areas. Recently honored by my colleague's with the Golden Heart Award for being the most helpful in our office to other agents!

Even though technology is a major force in our industry today, I still believe that personal service one-on-one or face-to-face with our clients, is the best way to build lasting relationships. Some of my closest friends started as Prospects, then Buyer or Seller Customers, many more than once or twice.

With the younger population, I enlist the expertise of the younger agents' knowledge in technology and the latest marketing techniques. You can never stop learning in our business.
