4 Brilliant Benefits of Homeownership

Here at The Julie Morales Team, we believe that each individual should experience homeownership when the timing is right for them. We understand that each person has unique circumstances and renting may still be the best option. However, I would like to share with you how owning a home has changed my life for the better, and perhaps it can change yours too.

1) I am financially stronger, building equity and credit, and no longer throw money into an endless pit. While renting can be wonderful and easier for many people, remember in the end, it is your money building someone else's wealth and equity. And while there is nothing necessarily wrong with that in the short-term, it is most likely not conducive to meeting your long-term financial goals.

2) I love my freedom and my huge backyard. While renting was nice, it never really gave me freedom. I always felt like I had to look out for someone else's property. While that may build good habits, it certainly is no luxury. Worrying if you will get your deposit money back after your lease has ended is a stress I could certainly do without.

3) I can make my home a healthier place for my family. We were able to change our water pipes from the old rusted metal to a newer, healthier alternative. We were also able to install a whole house water purifier, as well as new windows with UV protection and screens allowing fresh, clean air at our heart's desire!

4) We got to design our home. Adding those personal touches and upgrades built a connection and made it that much more warm and cozy to come home to after those long days at work. When we moved into our home we were able to pick the color of our walls, pick our carpet, pick our blinds, upgrade our bathrooms, pick our light fixtures and much more. It was something that our family did together and it made it that much more meaningful.

We at The Julie Morales Team realize that people's needs are different. Whether you are in the secure position to purchase a home or whether you prefer to rent, we are proud of our eclectic approach to the home buying and selling and process, allowing us to accommodate each individual's unique real estate needs. We look happily forward to accommodating you!
