What is August Lakes All About

Posted by Adam Fogelsong

August Lakes is a private gated lake living neighborhood right here in Katy Texas! We are zoned to Katy Elementary, Katy Junior High and Katy High School! Go Tigers!

August Lakes has a single grand entrance that is gated with a guard house. The entrance is surrounded by gorgeous mature pecan trees. The developer purposely worked around every tree he could save in this 75 acres of Section 1.

As you meander down the concrete curbed streets you will notice the 33 homesites are all at least 1 acre with  appoximately 200 feet of lakefront.  All of the lots have been meticulously built up from the dirt from digging the lakes, but the topsoil was removed first and replaced on top of the dirt.  Streetlights have been carefully selected and placed to give a little light to the streets but not pollute the beautiful night sky of Katy.

There are more than 20 acres of lakes. They are dug to be kept at 10-12 feet deep. These lakes are perfect for surfing and wakeboarding! You can also enjoy skiing, paddleboarding, tubing, and fishing.  All of the homesites are large enough to build your dream home, 3+ garages, boathouse, and pool! The boat houses are all to be built inside the lots with a lagoon to ensure the beautiful views of the lakes and boater and rider safety.

The luxury builders in August Lakes will build you a gorgeous dream home at least 3000 sf and 3 car garages. The homes will all have lifetime roofs and incredible views of the lakes.  Each home will have spacious back porches for outdoor living and entertainment. The huge yards will be irrigated from the nutritious lake water. The neighborhood has 2 water wells. One will feed the lake and the other will supply the homes. There is no MUD.

In August Lakes, you will feel like you are living on vacation! Everything you need is just out your back door!
