Home Buying Tip

When considering buying a home there are a number of things you'll need to put in place before getting started:

1. Make a plan and set a timeline to meet your goals (example, if your lease will expire January 2017 your goal is to have everything in place at least 2 months in advance, November 2016).

2. Get an accountability partner. If you aren't accountable to anyone you could easily lose your focus and not meet your goals.

3. Identify your distractions. If you know you have people and things in your life that consume your time and your money identify them and serve them notice that you need a break, you're working on something.

4. Check your credit. If you know you have credit challenges, the time to check your credit is now and not 30 days before you need to move. Give yourself time to correct any challenges and avoid any unnecessary stress.

5. Get help! If you know you need credit repair, connect with a Credit Consultant. If you need a Loan Officer and Realtor connect with one that will walk you through the home buying process. If you have no idea where to start or you have debt and savings challenges then connect with Marcia Smith at the The Home Buying Club.

6. Be patient, stay focused and trust the process. I promise you everything you desire will be given unto you because you planned it and you seeked professional help to get it.
