H-Town Blues Festival April 3, 2015

EnergyFest April 4, 2015

Turning a unique venue into a spring festival, EnergyFest 2015 brings live music, food trucks, fun kids activities, merchant booths and a beer garden. The third annual EnergyFest will feature bands performing perform rock and pop, Austin country, popular classical and energetic dance party music. While enjoying live tunes, sample great offerings from restaurants and merchants in The Energy Corridor, and check out the latest rides from EnergyFest sponsor Audi West Houston. Kids will enjoy a video gaming truck, towering rock climbing wall, carnival games, a gravity-defying cable jump and a moonwalk obstacle course.

Houston Art Car Parade April 9-11, 2015

The pinnacle of Houston Art Car Parade Weekend is the Parade itself! Over 300 jaw-dropping cars, bikes, skaters, and motorized creatures will roll down Allen Parkway, from Waugh Drive to Bagby, and blow the minds of 300,000 spectators. There's a full day of events leading up to the parade - make sure you get there early! You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, umbrellas for shade, sunscreen, a camera, and plenty of water!

Pearland Crawfish Festival April 10-12, 2015

The Pearland Crawfish Festival returns, serving even more hot, fresh crawfish, along with Cajun dishes and classic festival fare. With the move comes the chance to bring out more — more food, including more Cajun food, more vendors, more activities, more carnival rides and more fun. Specialty entertainment such as the popular Splash Dogs will be back and bigger than before, with new Iguana Races and more added to the Armadillo Races, contests and more.

WorldFest: Houston International Film Festival April 10-19, 2015

WorldFest brings a blend of feature films, shorts, screenplays, TV commercials, music videos and documentaries to viewers throughout the area. Founded in 1968, past winners include Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone, George Lucas and David Lynch-all early in their careers.

Hobby Fest at Hobby Airport April 11, 2015

Families are encouraged to attend to enjoy complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn and sodas, as well as free activities such as face painting, moonwalks, video game bus, interactive science exhibits, a live DJ and up-close encounters with vintage and modern aircraft. The event is free to the public with a donation of a non-perishable food item that will benefit the Hobby Area Rotary Club.

Disney on Ice presents Frozen April 15-20, 2015

Houston Improv Festival April 16-18, 2015

Ten of Houston's most talented improv troupes join forces with troupes from the improv hot spots of Austin and Chicago for this year's Houston Improv Festival. The Fourth Annual Houston Improv Festival reflects the diverse landscape of modern improv. Guests will experience long-form and short-form improv comedy in a variety of formats. Improv sets will be inspired by music, sonnets or improvised beat poetry. Performers create intricate vocal soundscapes in the pitch black, produce an improvised documentary or reveal history as told by an inebriated gentleman. J

apan Festival Houston April 18-19, 2015

This annual event in Hermann Park's beautiful Japanese Garden draws more than 20,000 people. The Japan Festival celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Japan with two stages showcasing music, traditional and folk dance and martial arts, as well as demonstrations of Ikebana flower arrangement, tea ceremony, origami and bonsai.

Texas Crawfish & Music Festival April 24-May 3, 2015

The Texas Crawfish and Music Festival is one of Houston's largest and longest running festivals, deeply rooted in the historic railroad town of Old Town Spring. The festival is family friendly and promises to have something for all ages. Along with music and steaming pots of Southern Louisiana crawfish, expect all the fun and festivities of a carnival, complete with rides, games, local arts and crafts, food and drinks, a petting zoo and more.
