Homes For Sale In Spring Valley Houston

A community rife with flourishing history, Spring Valley was once home to German settlers who built farms and sawmills in the area.

By 1950, rumors of neighborhood annexing prompted the descendants of Spring Valley early settlers to file for a petition to incorporate the district.

This led to the present mayor-city council type of government of the city that regulated the issuance of building permits.

At present, Spring Valley Houston is among the most desirable neighborhoods to live west of Downtown.

Spring Valley Houston homes for sale vary from old ranch style bungalows built on wooded areas to newly updated single family homes.  Architectural styles include Contemporary, Mediterranean, Modern, Georgian, and Traditional.

A number of older homes are mostly sold as tear down units or as lots, which can still go for as much as $400,000.

Spring Valley Houston does not have townhomes and condominiums for sale due to a zoning ordinance that permits for only detached single-family homes within the neighborhood.

I have lived here for over a decade, and considered myself to be very familiar with Houston. Paige introduced me to facts, neighborhoods and historical information, and I fell in love with the city all over again! She has the knowledge, patience and dedication it takes to educate a novice entering the housing market.

She not only guided and informed, but she took the time to listen and actually understand my taste and specific needs. Buying property is one of the most stressful experiences, but I must say that Paige has helped take the stress level out of the process.
