“I was moving from Virginia to Texas, so it was imperative I find someone I could trust to show me the real area and feel for my new location. I knew I was going to sign a contract on a house unseen, so I needed someone I could trust to show me the real location and not just the pretty pictures on the Internet. I had seen posts by Alexis McCarty on FaceBook of homes she was promoting and I thought she would be great to scout out the Houston area. From the first contact to the last Alexis has been communicative, quick to respond and very knowledgable. Alexis is the most efficient broker I have had the honor of working with! My husband and I have bought 6 houses over the years, but Alexis was by far the most professional, readily respondent and accurate of the lot! I was very impressed with her level of attention to details and precise information gathering. I would say, "I am looking at...", and she would respond with I will be there in two hours and I'll take pictures. She made this stressful move from one state to another seem like an every day event, and really set me at ease and made me feel comfortable. We went quite a few rounds of renting versus buying, and Alexis was there for both. Then, renting fell through, and we decided buying would be better in the long run, and Alexis was ready to pivot when we said go. I thought I found the perfect home online, but it turned out it had serious foundation issues, of which I would never know if Alexis had not jumped in her car and run over to the property. Using video chat I was able to see the actual property instead of the pictures the seller provides. That could have been a disaster. In the end Alexis had visited multiple properties. Each time she would drive the neighborhood and take a video, so I could see the whole picture. This was invaluable information for me.
