Livingston parks play host to a variety of events!

Livingston's 100 acre Pedigo Park leads the outdoor pack among city parks as the locale for major events and room to play, while Mathews Street Park offers alternatives activities and smaller parks provide other possibilities.

Pedigo Park located on U.S.. 59 just North of U.S.. 190 is home to two fishing ponds, fields for baseball, softball and soccer. It also has three covered picnic areas with barbecue gills, water and restroom access. The are available on a first come first served basis.

On the weekend before the third Monday, the city sponsors Trade Days at Pedigo Park.  Two large pavilions in the Trade Days area may be rented from the parks department when they are not in use.

Pedigo Park hosts a number of annual events such as the Polk county Relay for Life benefiting the American Caner Society and the Easter Eggstravaganza, where over 20,000 eggs are filled with prizes and candy are hidden for children to find.

The park is also the site for the Kids Fishing Frenzie help each April, the Lighted Christmas in the Park displays are open from Thanksgiving to New Years day and the First Baptist Church's annual "A Night in Bethlehem" during the Christmas season.

This park is part of a 240-acre site and always has many things going on. You will need to check it out!!
