In 1998 my husband was asked to relocate to Houston under his oil-field services job and we moved into the then much smaller Katy suburb. I then started my career as an events and corporate marketing manager for Baker Hughes. My 14 year career ended through the downfall of the oil market but before then my career had afforded me many travels around the world to places like Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and the span of the United States. I was able to explore incredible places and meet the most interesting people with diverse cultures to exotic foods filling my travels along the way.
