It just means that it hasn't been on the market for long - this isn't a technical term so there aren't parameters set in place to fit some sort of guideline. I would review the number of days its been on the market & form you own opinion on how recent it is.
In addition to all of the other great answers Chris, the term "listed" refers to a home being introduced to the market for sale. You may see agents advertise that they have a new listing, have taken a listing, or will be listing a property in the near future.
Chris, in general, this is a marketing strategy to employ urgency in potential buyers to "get it first." As far as HAR.com is concerned a , "recently listed" badge can be seen on listings that are less than a week old (or no more than 5 days according to HAR).
Hello Chris. A marketing phrase or "headline" to grab you attention! This indicates the home was put on the market for sale or lease by a Realtor. Likely in the last 30 days. A Realtor working for you can pull up the property archive records and give you the history of the home in regards to activity on the Houston MLS. Just because it was "recently listed" with one Realtor does not mean this is the first time they tried to sell it. This past history information is important when preparing an offer. Call us for additional tips.
If you see "Recently Listed" next to a home on HAR, it means the home has been listed for 5 days or less. Hope this helps, Cassandra Vickers, RE/MAX Prestige.
I agree with Kevin that it's a matter of opinion. As a Realtor, I can report to my client on the history of a home. I can see how long it's been , "recently listed", and I can see if it's been listed in the past, and then taken off the market for various reasons. I think the most important thing you can look at is the status of the listing- active, option pending, pending or closed.
Recently listed would mean the home had been on the market for sale for a short period of time. There is a not set time period, but I would take it to mean less than 30 days. It would be an opinion of the person making the statement.
