Eligible properties include: single-family residence (detached house, townhouse, or condominium). New Manufactured homes in approved subdivisions are eligible if in compliance with S.M.A.R.T. housing guidelines from the City of Austin meeting Green Builder standards.
Program is exclusive to current participants of Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) Housing Choice Voucher program or Public Housing program who have resided in either program for more than a year. Participants must be in good standing with their lease obligations prior to submission of their applications for assistance.
