Amy Miller is a native Texan, born and raised in the small town of DeKalb in the Northeast corner of this great state. From that upbringing, she has gone on to become a successful business woman, loyal friend, tireless volunteer, and loving mother. Amy retired with AT&T after 24 years of service covering most of East Texas, especially Greater Houston. During that time, she has been nationally recognized by AT&T for her community involvement and her leadership of activities both within and outside the company. Specifically, she has been the recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for the last 3 years and the Mason Jackson Eternal Flame Award which is the top award for South Texas. More importantly, she won these awards based on nominations by her supervisors and peers. The Mason award expressly recognized Amy for her heart and dedication to those she works with and her community as a whole. Amy is active in numerous volunteer activities in Houston including the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) and the Easter Seals of Greater Houston. She serves on the Board of Directors for HLSR, the Spring Branch Education Foundation, and the Kim Coleman Education Foundation as well as several steering committees for Easter Seals. Amy was selected as a "Trailblazer" honoree in 2017 for her outstanding work in the community and with HLSR. Amy and her family reside in the Memorial area in the Spring Branch Independent School District. Amy is dedicated to being the best at what she does. Though raised in the beautiful Lake Charles, Louisiana area, I spent many summers as a teen at our family vacation home in Bandera, Texas. I fell in love with the Texas Hill Country and knew I would someday make it my home. Upon graduating high school, I came to Texas and attended Trinity University in San Antonio. After graduation, with a degree in business, I held several different corporate positions. However, I found that my true desire was to have my own business and to have it in Bandera. With that desire I opened my real estate firm in the Spring of 1981 and thanks to the fine people of Bandera and the surrounding counties, Guilott Realty Inc. has enjoyed many successes over the years.I have served as President, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer and a Board member for the Bandera County Board of Realtor. I also served on the State Grievance Committee and I am a trained mediator.For many years Guilott Realty Inc. has supported, and continues to support, numerous worthwhile charities and civic events. I have been serving Bandera County and surrounding counties as a Realtor that specializes in working with listings and buyers. I have patience and willingness to only do what is best for the client. In my past, I took training in Senior Real Estate Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representation, Green building practices and in general, I have a good working knowledge of construction.
