I am truly YOUR hometown agent! Growing up in Alvin, I am very familiar with Alvin and the surrounding cities. My wife and I have raised our FIVE boys in Alvin, and I am well connected in the area. I was a youth pastor in Alvin for many years, and I continue to have that strong desire to serve people. In 2014, I was named the Citizen of the Year by the Alvin-Manvel Area Chamber of Commerce. In the last few years, I served as the chair of the Youth Roundtable Committee for the Chamber. Currently, I am the chaplain for Alvin EMS, coach little league baseball, and I serve on the board of directors for the Alvin ISD Education Foundation, Alvin FFA Alumni and Supporters, and Brazoria County Alliance for Children. My Husband Jim, who retired as a Sgt. with the Houston Police Dept. after serving 27 years of honorable service. We have 3 children, James Jr. who graduated from the United States Naval Academy and is now serving as Commander in the naval reserves while working as a pilot in the training division of Southwest Airlines. Our son Jarred is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Masters in Education. He teaches Geograpy and is a Baseball/Football coach in the Conroe ISD. Our daughter Maegan who graduated from Sam Houston State University is also a teacher and has recently completed her Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. We are also the proud grandparents of 5 boys, one girl,4 grand dogs and our little Yorkie Poo Sophie.
we love to watch our grandchildren play sports and are Avid Astro fans.
