I began my career in real estate as a leasing consultant with no experience at the young age of nineteen and was hired because of my red hair! There were two previous new hires for the position (both red heads) and both were fired. After a brief interview the hiring manager said she HAD to hire me, she said, "what are the odds of three bad red heads in a row!" At the end of my first year, I was awarded leasing agent of the year! I was soon promoted to assistant manager and eventually property manager. The management company was one of the leading companies in the industry at the time, they set the standards which gave me a great foundation and high expectations. Native Arkansan, Miranda has been fascinated with real estate since she was just 19 years old. Purchasing her very first home as a teenager in 1998, for $42,000, she quickly learned she did it ALL WRONG. She didn't use a realtor, waived inspections, and signed her name on the dotted line. Her first night in her cute farm house, she found a leak in the upstairs bathroom that had extensive water damage. Hind sight's 20/20...and it's costly!
